UMass Basketball Controversy

A woman is suing the University of  Massachusetts alleging she was intimidated and falsely imprisoned by  several coaching staff members on the men's basketball team.

Ayanna  Hickman alleges assistant coaches Lue Roe and Shyrone Chatman, along  with former strength coach Richard Hogans, prevented Hickman from  leaving an office and told her she could not talk about alleged use of  banned substances by team members, domestic violence incidents from  staff members and other issues after a return from a game in Springfield  in 2013.

Hickman is seeking 75-thousand dollars in damages. Roe was  placed on administrative leave in December, while Hogans left as the  strength coach in 2014.
