Janitor Denies Threat Made At Jewish Center

A janitor at the Springfield Jewish Community Center is denying he's behind a bomb threat at the center last month.

Jeremy Thayer of Hadley pleaded not guilty last week to identity fraud.

It's in connection to a fake job posting put on Craigslist that said the center was seeking a new executive director on March 4th, just a day after the threat was discovered at the facility.

Thayer apparently admitted to police he posted the fake ad, but denied responsibility for the bomb threat.  As a registered sex offender, he's also facing charges for allegedly failing to notify police that he got a new job.
