An interim president is being named for Mercy Medical Center in Springfield and its affiliates.
Trinity Health-New England named Mary Elizabeth O'Brien to the position yesterday.
O'Brien was most recently the CEO of a non-profit Catholic healthcare organization in Vancouver, Washington.
Mercy officials say they're conducting a national search for a permanent president after Doctor Scott Wolf left his post at the end of last month.
