Most States Say No To Trump Voter Request

Forty-one states are turning down a  Trump administration request to hand over private voter information to  investigate alleged voter fraud.

The request mailed to all 50 states  last week comes months after President Trump claimed without evidence  that millions had voted illegal in the 2016 presidential election.

CNN  reports state leaders and voting boards have responded to the letter  with varying degrees of cooperation, with some rejecting the request  altogether.
