A suspect is dead following a police involved shooting in Spencer.
The incident began last night on Northwest Road when officers tried to stop a vehicle believed to have been involved in a domestic dispute.
Police say the man exited his car and pointed a handgun at police, and he was shot dead by a single shot.
The weapon pulled by the suspect reportedly was a pellet gun.
