Boston commuters who normally take the Massachusetts Turnpike are urged to find alternate routes today.
Officials say that the number of lanes will be cut down to two in each direction leading to delays of up to 90 minutes this morning.
Crews will be working from five o'clock this morning to seven o'clock this evening on repairing and replacing the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge.
The eastbound part of the project is set to be done in a couple of weeks.
