More Pipeline Protests In Western Mass

More trespassing charges are expected  to be filed against opponents of a natural gas pipeline in Western  Massachusetts.

Ten people that were part of two groups of protesters  were arrested Wednesday in Sandisfield after state police say they shut  down two access roads used by construction vehicles and contractors for  the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company.

The company is constructing an  extension that goes through the Otis State Forest.

Authorities say the  protesters were peaceful, as has been the case throughout several months  of civil disobedience.
