State Checking Readings On Breathalyzers

An investigation is being conducted to  make sure the breathalyzers used by police in the state are accurate.

The secretary of public safety launched the probe following allegations  from defense attorneys.

The attorneys say the breathalyzers provided  inaccurate reports that could affect close to 60-thousand drunk-driving  cases since 2011.

The defense lawyers blame the Office of Alcohol  Testing for the problems, not state prosecutors.
