Maria Impact Felt In Western Mass

Hurricane Maria's impact on Puerto Rico is once again causing a ripple effect on the Puerto Rican community in Western Massachusetts.

Many Holyoke residents have been trying to contact family members since the storm hit the island earlier this week.

Some say they've been successful and have learned that their loved ones have been moved to shelters, while others, including Holyoke City Councilor Nelson Roman, say they haven't had any luck.

Roman continues to hold a donation drive, which he set up after Hurricane Irma hit Puerto Rico.
