South Hadley is considering joining a national lawsuit against major pharmaceutical companies that manufacture opioid drugs.
The town's board of selectmen will discuss the matter at a Tuesday meeting.
Greenfield, Easthampton and 30 other municipalities across the state have already filed litigation to force the companies to pay for local expenses associated with the cost of the opioid epidemic.
