Flu Deaths Soar In Connecticut

The number of flu-related deaths  continues to rise in Connecticut.  State public health officials say 20  more people died in the last week from the flu.  

That brings the number  of flu-related deaths in Connecticut to 97 since the season officially  began last August, with two involving children.  

Nearly two-thousand  people have been hospitalized by the flu since August, with over  six-thousand positive lab tests recorded.
