It could be weeks from now that thousands of convictions tied to a disgraced drug lab chemist in Amherst will be dismissed.
That was the update from Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Justice Frank Gaziano, who held a hearing on Thursday to plot a course of action for the case of chemist Sonja Farak.
Prosecutors said Farak got high on the job with drugs that were seized for evidence.
She was arrested in 2013.
