A Chicopee woman who is waiting for her second heart transplant got a visit from New England Patriots star player Rob Gronkowski on Monday.
Lauren Meizo published a video online last week saying how she'd love to meet Gronk while she waits for the transplant at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
Her favorite player came through in the clutch. Meizo suffers from a rare form of muscular dystrophy.
On WHYN's Jim Polito Show, Meizo calls the visit a "pick me up" that she really needed.
