"Brooming" Past New York

The Red Sox rallied from a 4-1  deficit to beat the Yankees 5-4 in 10 innings and complete a four-game  sweep at Fenway Park.

Andrew Benintendi  clinched  the victory with a RBI single after Boston scored three runs in the  bottom of the ninth to stay alive.

New York closer Aroldis Chapman  allowed the three runs with three walks to blow his second save of the  season and Jonathan Holder was tagged with the loss.

The Yanks built  their advantage with all four runs in the seventh inning.

The Red Sox  have taken a nine-and-a-half game lead on NY for first in the AL East.
