A suspected arsonist from Pittsfield is under arrest.
The Pittsfield Police Department says Phillip Jordan was picked up at the Vermont-Canada border and was detained by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents after allegedly setting four fires deliberately in the city on Saturday.
The police department says the Berkshire County District Attorney's Office is assisting with the extradition of Jordan back to Massachusetts.
