Police are saying a little more about a weekend incident that led to the closing of the emergency room at a Westfield Hospital.
A search for a stabbing suspect who apparently influenced a lock down at Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield is over.
The Hampden District Attorney's Office says a woman was transported by her husband to the hospital on Sunday for a stab wound that came from an attack at the couple's home in Chester, according to state police reports.
Police began searching for the man, identified as Igor Kachur, and say he was found dead on Monday.
Officials say the woman is recovering from her injuries.
