No Confidence Vote Tabled At Hampshire College

Faculty members at Hampshire College have tabled a vote of no-confidence in the college's leadership.

The faculty attempted a vote last week that was invalidated because of a technicality.

The decision to attempt the vote came after Hampshire College president Miriam Nelson announced the school was seeking a long-term financial partner, followed by a round of staff layoffs.

Nelson said the no-confidence vote could have affected the transition.
