Hundreds attended a meeting in Blandford on Thursday concerning a proposed new exit on the Massachusetts Turnpike.
The state transportation department wants to add an exit between Westfield and Lee.
Some people said they want the exit so they can get to the Springfield area and Worcester more quickly, while others at the meeting expressed concern about noise and traffic.
