Super Hero Package Leads To Arrest Of Dad

A Holyoke man is facing charges after a five-year-old boy reportedly brought a packet of drugs to school.

Police say the packet of heroin or cocaine stamped with "Spiderman" was brought to the Lawrence School by the boy on Thursday morning.

The child reportedly told his principal that he felt like a superhero after putting the material inside his mouth, according to reports.

Police arrested the boy's father, Benny Garcia, for reckless endangerment of a child and other charges.

He will be arraigned later today.

Meantime, the child and one other were taken into custody by the state,
