Churches Ready To Reopen According To State Plan

Under the Governor's plan to reopen the state, Churches will be allowed to open provided they adhere to certain standards.

According to the plan, Houses of Worship may only be 40 percent of capacity.

They have to be seated six feet apart if not from the same household and they have to wear a mask.

In addition, the guidelines ask churches to make their own protocols for collections and communion.

Holy Water fountains would have to be covered, hymnals removed and churches will be asked to see if windows can be open to allow fresh air inside their facilities.
