Housing Market Is Another Victim To Pandemic

Home sales have taken a hit in the last reporting period because of the pandemic.

The Warren Group says single family home sales are down nearly 14 percent.

But the report also says that the median price of a home is 428 thousand dollars.

Suffolk and Hampden Counties took a 30 percent hit year over year. In Barnstable and Berkshire Counties sales went down by 20 percent.

Tim Warren says that the median price going up is actually good news for everyone because it shows that people still have confidence in the market.
