Gov Lamont Issues Massachusetts Travel Advisory Over Pandemic Numbers

Massachusetts has been added to Connecticut's coronavirus travel advisory. The state has also added Pennsylvania and California to the advisory list, which now includes 40 states, Guam and Puerto Rico.

Rhode Island and New Jersey also are now qualified for the list because of high infection rates.

Those states are not being added to Connecticut's quarantine list because of agreements with those states.

Meantime, Massachusetts has reported more than one-thousand positive coronavirus tests a day in four straight days.

The state reported one-thousand-and-25 positive tests yesterday, with the total number of infections in Massachusetts now approaching 150-thousand.

Seven new deaths were reported from the virus yesterday. More than 96-hundred people have died in Massachusetts since the pandemic began.
