Holyoke Soldiers Home Gets New Senior Management

Governor Charlie Baker's administration has announced a new senior leader at the Holyoke Soldiers' Home.

Glenn Hevy has been named the new deputy superintendent.

Hevy is a retired U.S. Army infantry officer and comes from the Bedford VA Medical Center, where he worked in patient care and rehab services.

The Soldiers' Home has not yet filled the position of superintendent.

The previous head of the facility, Bennett Walsh, resigned in October following a major deadly coronavirus outbreak.
