Somers Tornado Lasts 7 Minutes- Damage But No Injuries

The National Weather Service is confirming that a tornado touched down in Somers.

The storm that created the EF-zero twister with wind speeds up to 80 miles per hour was reported before six p.m. yesterday.

Trees were toppled, and there was some damage to homes, but no injuries have been reported.

The tornado's path was for just under two miles, and it touched down for around seven minutes.
