Mass Mask Mandate Stays In Schools For Rest Of School Year

The mask mandate for public schools in Massachusetts is now extended through the end of February.

As the number of coronavirus cases among students and staff continues to rise, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education says masks remain an important safety measure.

Students 5 and older in all grades and staff must wear masks indoors except when eating or drinking.
