Lives Saved, Eight Arrested In Massive Western Mass Drug Bust

The Massachusetts State Police is announcing a significant drug bust. Eight men from Springfield and Holyoke were arrested between January 27th and February 17th. They range in age from 28 to 60.

A state police task force and partner agencies reportedly seized multiple kilograms of fentanyl and cocaine, plus more than one-hundred-thousand dollars in drug proceeds.

Springfield Mayor Dom Sarno says no one can say exactly how many lives have been saved by the police actions.

He is calling for judges to help the cause by keeping violent offenders locked up.
