Senator Wants Action On Local Roads Bill

House and Senate Republicans – who had previously been silent on the snail's pace of the legislature are not speaking out.

Senator Bruce Tarr and House Minority Leader Brad Jones writing to the conference committee asking for some 200 million dollars in local road and bridge monies to be released.

The lawmakers say that the standoff has been going on since March on the funding bill and the longer lawmakers wait to pass it- the less local communities will be able to do.
