Jobs Created By Holyoke Hydrogen Energy Project

A Virginia-based hydrogen-energy company will base its northeast operations in Holyoke.

Revo Zero says the city meets its unique location criteria. Holyoke is apparently one of only a few places that has access to renewable energy sources, a favorable business environment, a good geographic location, and a skilled labor force.

The potential economic impact includes up to 100 new jobs.

An employee tests a GEH2 zero-emission hydrogen power generators developped by French company EODev, at the Eneria CAT factory in Montlhery, Paris' suburb on June 20, 2023. The GEH2 hydrogen power generator doesn't use fossil fuels and doesn't produce any CO2 to accelerate energy transition, raising awareness about the potential of hydrogen.
