Massachusetts State House Reopens After Fire

The State House in Boston will be back open today after a fire on Tuesday caused damage to a sub basement level.

State Police have determined the fire was accidental, caused by faults in lines running from an electrical vault to a pull shack.

The fire caused the evacuation of the State House on Tuesday, and the historic building remained closed yesterday.

The superintendent of the State House has announced that the building has been deemed safe to reopen today.
