Sox End Road Trip With Loss To Oakland

Three separate batters belted two-run homers to propel the A's over the Boston Red Sox 6-5 at the Oakland Coliseum.

JJ Bleday, Jace Peterson and Cody Thomas went deep as Oakland notched its second straight win.

Angel Felipe earned his first win after tossing one-and-two-thirds scoreless innings of relief.

Trevor May recorded his eighth save as the Athletics improved to 27-and-71.

Red Sox starter Brayan Bello was charged the loss after allowing six earned runs through four frames.

Justin Turner hit his 15th home run of the season and drove-in a game-high three runs as Boston fell to 51-and-46.

The Red Sox are off today. They will begin a series with the New York Mets Friday at Fenway.
