An investigation is continuing, but fire officials in Sturbridge say they believe they know what caused a car explosion last week.
The explosion near the Walmart on Charlton Road.
It appears an unidentified woman was trying to get high when she rolled up all the windows in her car and started "huffing"....that is inhaling compressed air.
But it was when the woman then tried to light a cigarette inside the car- that the explosion happened---blowing out the windows but causing no injury to the woman.
The investigation is continuing and neither police nor fire are talking about any charges yet.
