National Weather Service Says Tornado Struck Easton

The National Weather Service is confirming that an EF-one tornado touched down Saturday night along the town line of Easton and Foxboro.

The 100 foot wide tornado had estimated peak winds of 105 miles per hour when it touched down for around 400 yards.

Straight line and microburst wind damage was also reported Saturday night in Easton, Brockton and East Bridgewater as powerful storms moved through the area.

There were no reported injuries just damage.

The EF 1 Tornado the second tornado in two weeks in the Massachusetts.
