Arbitrater Rules Fired State Troopers Should Be Reinstated

State Police are being ordered to offer reinstatement to seven troopers who were suspended for refusing the COVID vaccine.

The seven troopers claimed that they could not be vaccinated because of sincerely held religious beliefs.

An arbitrator has now ruled that State Police violated parts of the contract with troopers involving anti-discrimination and affirmative action.

The ruling indicates that the troopers refusing to be vaccinated should have been offered opportunities allowing them to stay on the job.
