Charges Against Restaurant Owner Dismissed

The state is dismissing its prosecution of Joseph Sullivan, a co-owner of Nathan Bill's Bar and Restaurant in Springfield.

Sullivan was accused of misleading an investigation into the notorious fight outside of the restaurant in 2015 which involved off-duty Springfield police officers and civilians.

The Springfield Republican reports the charges against Sullivan were dropped last Friday because there was concern that the testimony of two key witnesses was unreliable.
