Ludlow police have arrested a man on charges he tried to entice two girls into his vehicle.
The incident occurred in the first block of East Street on Saturday when officers found a vehicle facing the wrong way and blocking a travel lane.
They arrested 35-year-old Michael Wilson of Ludlow on felony enticement of a child under 16 and disorderly conduct.
Police were told that Wilson approached two girls as they left a store and tried to get them to join him in his car, but they refused and went to their parents, who were nearby. Wilson was arraigned Monday and is being held for lack of 15-thousand-40-dollars cash bail.
