Former Red Sox Manager Dies At 80

A former manager of the Red Sox died Friday at age 80.

Jimy Williams led the team from 1997 to 2001.

He was American League Manager of the Year in 1999, the year the Sox went to the American League Championship Series.

In a social media statement, the Red Sox said the organization sends its love to the Williams family.
