The National Weather Service in Albany, New York has predicted total accumulations of five to ten inches from Pittsfield to the Vermont state line.

A High Wind Warning will be in effect until 10 am Thursday, with gusts between 45 and 60 miles per hour.

South of the Massachusetts Turnpike will see far less accumulation as rain, mixed with sleet is expected in the Springfield area east to Boston.
