Bruins Beat Down Panthers In Series Two Opener

The Bruins came from behind to beat the Panthers 5-1 in Game One of their best of seven second round series at Amerant Bank Arena.

Matthew Tkachuk opened the scoring in the second period with his fourth goal of the postseason to put the Panthers on top.

The Black and Gold responded a little more than a minute later after Morgan Geekie found the back of the net.

Mason Lohrei, Brandon Carlo and Justin Brazeau also scored for the B's.

Jake DeBrusk added an empty netter to seal the victory for Boston.

Jeremy Swayman stayed hot stopping 38 of the 39 shots he faced between the pipes.

The Bruins lead the series 1-0 and will look to extend their lead when they visit Florida in Game Two Wednesday night.
